In July 2018 Demi Lovato was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home by her assistant. Paramedics revived her with Narcan. Reports later emerged that she had been partying for twelve hours straight before collapsing. Her group reportedly kept Narcan on hand during their sessions as a regular precaution, which tells you everything about how bad things had gotten. She had released a song called Sober just weeks earlier in which she admitted to relapsing after six years of clean time. The public had been warned and nobody had been able to stop what was coming. She survived three strokes, a heart attack and multiple organ failure that night. Doctors told her she had about five to ten minutes left when her assistant made the call.
